If you haven't seen the video (which, strangely, was all over CNN/BBC etc for a day then is mysteriously gone DUNDUNDUNNN) some say something was strangely and suspiciously sitting above the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem on the 28th.

Now, before you go off on all your tinfoil hat feck you's, I realize this is most probably some fake/viral video. However, whats interesting is the fact that in the above videos, it is very hard to create a fake lighting effect that does what you see there (the flash on the ground). Basically, I'll let a film editor sum it up:

Notice how the light hits a central point on the buildings below and spreads outward. That is how a real flash works. It has a point of origin then it propagates. Also, look at how the light illuminates all of the buildings below. Faking that many shadows is a cool trick for a pro let alone a bunch of pranksters. If you guys think you can do that on your Macbook with canned video editing software then post up a night shot knock off. Good luck.

Hubble just found 5 earth sized planets within the Milky Way with that new attachment to the telescope. Scientists believe that all of them are within their stars habitable zones. There is definitely other life out there...the government has covered up a lot of stuff in the past, that's been pretty well known for a while now.
