Friends in town want to watch the Falcons game tonight. It's on ESPN. I don't have cable, I don't watch sports. I'm able to stream everything I care to watch from my HTPC mac mini. Of course, not live though.
Searching around, I find I can't even pay someone to stream it live (or live-ish?)? And there's a few free sports sites... but it seems there's no guarantee of the schedule... it's like, I just have to check around at 8 tonight and see if any of them have it? We'll have made other plans by then.
I'm about to call COX, have them turn it back on then cancel it tomorrow :lol:

I used myp2p.eu before I got cable. Yes, it sounds sketchy but its not. (well, not mostly)
there should be a forum thread for the game/games. those are the best streams.
dont expect stellar quality. if you find a stream thats close to SD quality then stick with it.

ok thanks guys I'll take a look at those when I get home. I saw that Justin TV site last night and it all looked liked such obscure stuff I didn't have high hopes.

Justin TV had some obvious and promising links that never worked, the only one that did was labeled as something else. I didn't even click it again until Jess suggested it like 5 times.
Then I stupidly made the mistake of closing that one during a commercial to look for a better feed, couldn't, then it wouldn't even let me get that one back. Jess also gave me fair warning that this was a terrible idea, but hey, I know what I'm doing, shut up.... so.... that's two for two for her.
Before everyone killed me and went to BW3, I ended up with a non-HD, non-widescreen feed at myp2p.eu. Good enough apparently.
I got back to what I DO know, mixing large amounts of caffeine and alcohol and playing DDR and iRacing until 5AM.

Year old thread pays dividends! My friend and I are married to Steeler fans (yeah, I know, but it's nice to have interesting football in the house after September). Games are usually not broadcast here which was not gonna work today. Started at the myp2p and ended up at ilemi.me - watched the game live in quality reminiscent of the mid 80's. It being from a Mexican station made it that much better. :lol:
edit: It as weird though, I had my laptop on his network (FiOS in the South Riding area) and got in no problem, Verizon blocked his laptop from accessing myp2p though.
