Project "Urban Truck" - balactm - 10-15-2010 As many of you know, I ended up buying the 08 Ridgeline I talked about in my yota thread. I finished signing the papers yesterday evening and did not have a chance to snap pictures, so today I was finally able to. A quick run down: 2008 Honda Ridgeline RT silver in color 38,345 miles Certified Used, so it has another 5 years, 60k on the limited powertrain warranty Extra, all inclusive warranty, covers everything, not just the limited powertrain The reason I chose "Urban Truck" is because it's not really "truck" it has ifs all the way around, which is kind of lame for a truck. It also doesn't have a normal sized bed, but it's ok. Either way, I love the truck, and will refer to it as a truck regardless. It's great for running around town in, because of the suspension. It rides like almost like a sedan, and while delivering I can take turns a lot quicker than in my yota. It has the 5500 lb towing capacity with hitch receiver already installed. This will stay stock because I need a reliable vehicle while working on the crx. I am interested in putting in a better sounds system because the stock one is pretty weak, and i'm pretty sure one of the speakers is already going out. I'd like to put a sub, sub amp, and 4 channel amp under the rear seat, and put in a new head unit and all new speakers. Other than that, it will stay as it sits for a loooonng time. especially since it's under warranty. I still have to check if messing with the stereo will void the warranty, so that may not even happen. Essentially my plans are to simply drive it. Take it on road trips, work with it when I need to, tailgate when i want to since it has the awesome in bed trunk with a drain plug , probably take it camping, you know the fun stuff. On with pictures. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Just an FYI, the Ridgeline actually has a 5000lb towing capacity -Scott (who's been towing a Spec Miata w/ an '08 Ridgeline for 2 years) Re: Project "Urban Truck" - balactm - 10-18-2010 Scott Wrote:wow, my bad, accidentally hit edit, not quote...whoops.balactm Wrote:.
