Accident.. Help finding parts - V1GiLaNtE - 08-24-2010 Well this past Thursday I rear ended one of my co workers coming home from work. Just my luck when I was going to go home vacuum and wash it so I could take pics and post for sale.. His bumper is a little scuffed up but I got the pleasure of having a banged up front bumper, bent hood latch, cracked grill (slightly), and cracked radiator support.. I can't really afford brand new parts( even aftermarket non OEM) so I'm trying to scrounge some junkyards for parts. I'm probably going to do it all myself then have somebody paint it that way I can finally sell this thing.. I wondering if anyone has any heads up for places that may have a high concentration of VW parts in NOVA and area's surrounding Harrisonburg. Re: Accident.. Help finding parts - Mike - 08-24-2010 Insurance? Re: Accident.. Last I checked the best place to find VW bumper parts was in the trunk of your car Sorry to hear about the accident and GL finding parts. Is there a VW forums where people put parts cars up to be stripped? That's the way it is for Hondas. Re: Accident.. Help finding parts - V1GiLaNtE - 08-24-2010 Mike Wrote:Insurance? Liability only... I asked a coworker who is big into VW's about any local VW yards here in Nova and she said there are none. Forums and eBay were the recs, and the only VW places around the 'burg I know of are all old school stuff Re: Accident..
