Ryan Freeland - ryan freeland - 07-27-2010 What's up MM!? My name is Ryan Freeland, I'm a sophomore economics/finance double major and I'm living in Shenandoah next year.. some of you know me because Jake let me hang out with you all last year haha. But yeah, I bought a car over the summer and can't wait to get my MM bumper sticker. So here she is.. 2000 Honda Prelude 4-cylinder 2.2L VTEC 5-speed manual 124,000 miles Mostly stock License: VROOOMM I've spent most of the summer doing small mods and routine maintenance.. Cleaned the EGR valve, fixed an oil leak on the VTEC solenoid, new set of O2 sensors, new gauge LEDs, and I've been slowly getting all the grease and grime off the engine bay. I also replaced all the stock speakers (it came with an aftermarket head unit) and I'm about to throw a 4-channel amp in to give them more headroom/power... As for performance mods, those will have to wait due to lack of cash money.. Long term I want to drop it a few inches and throw some new wheels on. She's due for a brake job before school, so that's the next priority. I've never autocrossed before, but it looks like a blast so I'm looking forward to it. But without further ado... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
Re: Ryan Freeland - D_Eclipse9916 - 07-27-2010 For a finance major your damn good at taking pictures, im about as retarded as they come. Would be great to see you out at some autocrosses, that H22A wont need any more power on an autox course, I would suggest investing in the wheels/tires and a suspension. Re: Ryan Freeland - Dave - 07-27-2010 Nice! Like the dash, that's pretty cool. Re: Ryan Freeland - TorinoCobra070 - 07-27-2010 Very clean car and nice license plate  Autocrossing is a very good idea. Always. Re: Ryan Freeland - balactm - 07-28-2010 I am soo jealous right now. I looked at getting one before I got my crx but the insurance was too high for what i could afford...Looks awesome. Did you buy it from the original owner? Re: Ryan Freeland - V1GiLaNtE - 07-28-2010 Congrats and Welcome to MM! First off your picture taking skills are great! I'm totally diggin' that last shot! You'll soon find your wallet lighter and lighter but surrounded by good people and good times! Welcome! Ryan Freeland - Jake - 07-28-2010 balactm Wrote:Did you buy it from the original owner? I think he did. Sort of younger female owner from what I remember. Definitely in great shape. We'll get you out autocrossing, don't worry... Did you buy it from the original owner?Yup, bought from the original owner and it was in 1 minor accident (that Carfax reported) and has some scrapes on the bumpers. I talked her down to $5k in cash. I drained my bank account to buy the car, and now it's a battle between paychecks and car parts. I'm happy though.
