WTB: racing seats - balactm - 07-23-2010

I know DJ had some racing seats for sale a while ago, but I just wanted to see if anyone had any racing seats, prefereably on the cheaper side, unless you've got a great deal on some bride's Big Grin But I'm looking for a fixed back, black or gray in color. I had been looking at corbeaus, momos, and some sparcos, but i'll consider anything.

I have some Sparco Evos for sale, but they're not cheap.

Re: WTB: racing seats - balactm - 07-23-2010

how not cheap are they?

lol gotta pay to play. Or get some aluminum kirkeys. Why do you need "race" seats. They suck unless your actually needing them.

Re: WTB: racing seats - Mike - 07-23-2010

They go for $750 new. Mine are in perfect condition.

I know... Demand must be ridiculous.

Re: WTB: racing seats - Evan - 07-23-2010

sparcos and any FIA seat's value goes way down after they are 5 years old and the cert is expired.

Re: WTB: racing seats - Mike - 07-23-2010

Mine aren't expired Smile

Re: WTB: racing seats - JustinG - 07-23-2010

Don't get brides, too much money. Look at any racer, any real racer.....they don't rock Brides. Corbeaus from what ive heard, don't know personally, but the quality and comfort aren't there. Id stick with Sparco or Recaros, I have yet to sit in one of those that was uncomfortable. You can get the entry level sparco fixed backs for $300 per seat, new, but I don't think they are FIA.

Re: WTB: racing seats - Ole - 07-26-2010

I have a spare Kirkey in my garage at the track if you are interested. It came out of a recently purchased /sold car.

Re: WTB: racing seats - navin - 07-27-2010

I have an expired FIA, black, Sparco EVO...Can come with rails/sliders for 92-95 Civic.... Shoot me an offer

Re: WTB: racing seats - balactm - 07-28-2010

I want racing seats because they're cheaper than trying to find a nice set of stock si's. My driver seat in particular is terrible, giant rip in the bolster. and so i figured if i was going to get a seat i'd like to feel like i'm in a race car when i drive the car because it's not my daily and i don't drive it as often as my truck. I've sat in some corbeaus and they're pretty nice, and i've also sat in sparcos and they're nice. I don't know what i'm going to do.

Re: WTB: racing seats - D_Eclipse9916 - 07-29-2010

Get expired Sparco Evos, or some cheap ass corbeaus, you cna probably find out of date seats for anywhere from 2-400 each.

Re: WTB: racing seats - balactm - 08-02-2010

crap i'm sorry man. I thought i had responded. i don't think 92-95 rails work with ef's

Re: WTB: racing seats - navin - 08-04-2010

They won't - buy the seat itself, I can re-use the rails anyway.

Re: WTB: racing seats - balactm - 08-05-2010

we can probably close this thread actually...money fell through no seats right now...
