Finance My Motor!! (By buying my stuff) - SlimKlim - 07-17-2010

Welp, it looks like I'm going to have to replace the motor in the bike, so I took a look around for some stuff to sell and offset the cost.

So anyway, I have a Walther P22 in delicious condition that I original was going to hang onto because I love it, but alas, doesn't seem like that's an option. Its the normal black, 3.4in barrel, I still have both clips and a simple little hip holster for it. Its an awesome little plinker/learner gun. Its surprisingly accurate and cheap as balls to shoot, thats the magic of a .22. Price is $200 firm. It's a pretty fair (and i think attractive) price, and I really need the damn money. Soooo someone buy it. Big Grin

I also have a Sony VGN AR520E Laptop. 17" screen, 4 GB of ram, 1.8GHz processor, 200GB drive, Full 1080HD screen. Its an enormous laptop and pretty beastly for what it is. I've been using it for the past year under the TV as an entertainment center which is a great use for it, you can just fold it up and slip it on the shelf and run Boxee or WMC. Anyway, I'll reformat it before I sell it, and the 9 and 0 key don't work, but a replacement board is like $15 on eBay. Refurbished they go for $699, $450 firm and it's in the mail.

I'll post pictures tomorrow, hopefully you guys have just been waiting to buy these two totally awesome things for these totally awesome prices, and I can order a motor. *crosses fingers*

Tell me about it... Imagine trying to get to sleep after shooting a 10 hour wedding and being tormented by the thumpin bass from the SAME bros that kept you up during finals week....

I'll trade you a super sweet Sanyo kegerator built by Jeff for the P22. I'll even include an extra tap and meet you halfway between roanoke and my home town for delivery. Won't pay for your engine but would look awesome in your appt at JMU.

As tempting as that is, both the pistol and laptop are sold. I think I'm about out of stuff to sell...

Technically I could put together all the broken parts and have something that looks like a motor, but it would weigh over 100lbs and take up a ton of space. Meh.
