How much oil - HAULN-SS - 06-26-2010
I just changed oil in the bike for the first time. How much should it take? I put 3 quarts in, but i can't seem to find a definitive answer on the interwebs. 1999 gsxr 750.
3quarts seem about right, anyway?

nevermind..finally found a free service manual

says 3.0 with filter change, 3.7 with overhaul..what the hell is overhaul? as in rebuilding the motor?

there should be a sight glass or dipstick. make sure you 'measure' however the service manual says to... they're all different (i.e. cold vs warm, on the stand vs upright).
