July 24/25th VIR - D_Eclipse9916 - 06-22-2010
As usual, NASA July VIR. I will be headed down Friday afternoon. The Friday night dinners I always miss so lets set up a time in advance so I can actually see some of the current students for more than 2 minutes. There will be tons of interesting cars at this event due to the UTCC being on Friday, cant wait. I will be working.

I'm thinking about going down Friday to watch the UTCC. Last year I was driving I81 North to work and saw some of the cars being trailered down 81South and hated myself for not requesting friday off...but I did do the circuitcross that sunday, which was fun. I really want to see what Clay's bringing and that crazy Challenger.

I'll be working of course, but going to do my best to drive this event. School ends for the summer on Wednesday, so pending any other distractions (hmm, what could possibly distract me now?), I'll have a little more time to spend in the garage. I was near the car a couple of days ago and I could swear it reached out and grabbed my leg as I walked by. I think it's pissed that its been sitting so long. Trying to get my Dad to come to this event, he's never been to a track event (!).

I will be leaving around 10/11AM Friday morning from NOVA to head down. I want to see some of the UTCC cars in action, as a lot of em leave before saturday. If anyone would like to caravan down with me let me know. I dont have any more room in my vehicle for people but actually iwll have plenty of room in the vehicle if anyone needs to bring anything down.

I need to go in to work for the morning at least... so I'll probably head out around 1 or 2. Gonna stop off 95 and pick up Nate and we'll make it down there around 7 or so, I guess. Pretty sure we're meeting Carrie & Joey (two Miata friends of mine) for dinner in Danville somewhere, you are welcome to join (anyone is, really) if you want!
