where can you buy one on those tiny bikes ? i looked on ebay as a friend suggested and couldnt find one, would be fun to drive around campus 8D

The fast pocket bikes (12+ hp) will get up to about 70 mph. They have a high enough power to weight ratio that they can do wheelies easily and will dump your ass if you are imprudent with the throttle. Much the same way F1 drivers use (or used) shifter karts to get sharp, a lot of the Moto GP riders use pocket bikes to train. Food for thought :twisted: .

I like those videos that have this super badass music and slow mo whiteout effects (everything's better in slow motion!) for what basically boils down to a couple fools having a good time. OH MY GOD HE'S CORNERING UNUNIQUELY WITHOUT INCIDENT...SLOW MO! Breathtaking. The only part I would have wanted to see in slow mo would be the dirt bike pulling a wheelie and landing it on the pocket bike guy's neck and/or spine.

Karting vids were better. My favorite quote? "driving them and setting them up, it's the same as a champ car...it's just you don't have shocks..." Minor detail. Springs neither. Oh yeah, and the data aquisition. Radio telemetry. Oh, and your dad doesn't push start it for you, but other than that, JUST LIKE IT. :wink:

Well, I think Kaan has a picture of the wheelie contest the pocket bikes were having at the Beaverun Hyperfest. A couple of those guys busted their A$$ :lol:

man, i dont have a vcr... i guess its about time for me to get tivo. and i feel truly and genuinely sorry for you if you havent watch chappelle's show this season. the 3 daves was one of the funniest things i've ever seen on tv.

just type in "pocket bike" on ebay and you'll see a TON of them! about 500 for a bike :twisted:
i forgot to mention, beware of knockoff bikes... which most of them are on ebay!
