my roomates porsche 951 (944 turbo) and a local harrisonburg 04 GT3

was driving home from class and saw the gt3 parked in the einsteins painting store right across from hardess by the railroad tracks. the owner is the one with the gt3. he was very cool and talked to me and my roomate for over an hour. he is hard core into tracking the car. it has gt2 seats, a roll cage, and modded suspension setup. he had a silver gt3 and traded it in for this. friday he is picking up a black carreras 997. he tracks his cars at summit and vir and has a whole inclosed trailor setup and all.

thought id share there are some cool local euro cars among all the vipers and corvettes down here

wow thats some good news. If you can get his contact info, we'd be very interested in having him come out to meetings or travel down with us to the tracks.

where is this painting store? do you know what road its on or any other stores near it?

:blort:

..GT3.... mmmmm

I talked to that guy at the CarGuys VIR event. He said he traded his silver GT3 in for the yellow because he likes yellow better......
Nice guy and all, but he definately projected a rich kid air....

PS- RJ that is not the instructor with the yellow GT3 that is at all the nasa events.

Well give me some of that air!

Any guy who drives the hardcore model of the family and takes it to the track gets an A in my book *thumb up*.

So thats the former owner of that Silver GT3 that someone took a picture of at Blockbuster? Man.... why trade it in when you could donate it to the local needy motorsports club

on a side note to this thread, I just was walking through the lot across from Showker and saw a silver MR2 spyder with the license plate "The Apex" and a summit point sticker. I left them a note with info about the club. Its good to see the burg has more to offer...

- ScottyB - 08-26-2004

he traded his old one in since he knows yellow is faster 8)

Yeah, I saw that GT3 yesterday up by Qdoba and I nearly shat myself. The car looks even better when it is on the road next to you. He then turned onto that road by Regal Cinemas and sounded amazing pulling away.

I'm rich, bitch.
