FS: '99 Miata Sport - Nis01 - 01-01-2010

IÔÇÖm in the midst of grad school and I have no time for this car, I've been contemplating selling it for a few months now. I hate to see it sit in a garage for over a year with nobody driving it. I know a few people have expressed interest but I would like MM to have first dibs on the car as it took me a long time to find one in this condition. ItÔÇÖs a '99 Sport (fairly rare) with 70,283 miles on it. I have invested quite a bit of time and money into cleaning it up and replacing wear items. Needs a timing belt change, I have all the parts needed for the service including new water pump, all gaskets, etc. The 5th gear synchro seems to be going which seems to be a very common issue with the miata 5 speed. It really is not an issue during driving unless you are trying to slam through the gears. Other issue with the car is the soft top has some UV damage to the inside and there is a small wear hole that currently does not leak. I have all service records from the previous owner plus I have my spreadsheets of all the work I've done to the car. I have quite a few spares as well as all the stock parts from anything I've replaced with aftermarket. 949s/RS3s are basically brand new and the all-seasons on the stock wheels have a ton of tread left on them.

Overall the car is really clean and definitely fun to drive. The car is currently lightly modified and fits nicely into the new SCCA STR class or could be fairly competitive in NASA-E without any additional work. I would like to get $8750.00 for everything , I may be able to part out a few things for a lesser price but IÔÇÖd like to see the car go as is.
The car will remain in the garage as I am down in North Carolina and the car is not with me. If you would like to see the car, I will probably need a week or two to figure out a good time. Title is in hand and the car is ready to go to the next owner.

Sad why don't you just take if off insurance and leave it in the garage? It would be sad to see this go, but after grad school I guess you'd have an opportunity to get another STI

Shit.

Re: FS: '99 Miata Sport - Goodspeed - 01-02-2010

Sad

This car is like 98% of the reason why I got my car. Good luck with the sale Shea, and hopefully this stays in MM family...
