Andrew_J - andrew_j - 09-30-2009 Hey all I'm Andrew Jones and I am a freshman this year at JMU. I found MM at student org night and was really pumped to get involved. I have worked on cars since I was really little with my dad and grandpa and still do today. I am really interested in doing autocross and hope to do some events this year. I do not have my car at JMU. I drive a 2000 Acura Integra LS. My mods are as follows: -AEM CAI -Apex'i WS2 catback (not a fart cannon) -TWM performance stage 2 short throw shifter -Calipers painted silver to look as if they are new -OEM Raybrig Fogs with Nokya yellow Bulbs -4300k HID's -ASR Rear subframe brace with an ITR 22mm Swaybar -16x7 Rota c10's wrapped in BFGoodrich gforce sport tires. -Tint -Pioneer Component speakers in the front (I am really into car audio as well as performance) -Sony headunit with bluetooth -Glowshift Oil pressure and Volt Gauge By the end of the semester I plan to install: -Function & Form Type 1 coilovers -Memphis Audio 15-PR12S4 woofers with a powerbass asa 600.2 amp. Long term I want to either swap the motor for a k series (k24a) or JDM ITR motor (b18c) or build my head and boost this motor (b18b1) with a full synapse ac friendly kit. on to some pictures... on the dragon run (deals gap, nc) this is my most recent picture. since the hood has been replaced/painted with a new one. ![]() the mugen style lip is gone. it was an impulse buy and i have removed/ and I am trying to sell it. ![]() my gauges/bezel pod ![]() asr/itr and a shot of my exhaust ![]() excuse the tech plate surround, I have JMU plates now. ![]() the new plate ![]() thanks for looking guys, look forward to meeting everyone and doing some autocrossing. Re: Andrew_J - JustinG - 09-30-2009 welcome sir Re: Andrew_J - Feersty - 10-03-2009 Nice writeup. I hope you have fun in MM. Re: Andrew_J - Jake - 10-04-2009 'Teg looks good... gotta get it down here for some AX eventually! Re: Andrew_J - ViPER1313 - 10-07-2009 Welcome man! Re: Andrew_J - andrew_j - 01-26-2010 Just a little update. Since my last post I have lowered the integra on a very nice set of coilovers. My current suspension setup is: -Koni Yellow Sport shocks, 4-way adjustable -Ground Control coilover sleeves and top hats -Blox gold anodized LCA's -ASR subframe brace, ITR sway bar Appearance wise: -OEM ITR lip -No more wheel gap ![]() the coilovers: ![]() the lca's ![]() rear view: ![]() random shots: ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks for looking
Re: Andrew_J - xvxax - 01-26-2010 What rates you running on them coils? Re: Andrew_J - andrew_j - 01-26-2010 380lbs in the front, 250lbs in the rear. It is an awesome riding setup. I don't rub tire, or bottom out at all. Even with the dampers set on full soft. Re: Andrew_J - D_Eclipse9916 - 01-27-2010 Congrats on getting a good suspension setup. Nowadays with the full Japanese/ebay coilovers people think they are the shit, when a cheaper set would actually do much better. Car is looking good! Re: Andrew_J - terdcivic - 01-27-2010 I love seeing clean Hondas; I don't see many in person, but with a few newer MM members rocking them hopefully I will this semester!! I'm due for a suspension upgrade, so i'll need to talk to you about that =p Re: Andrew_J - andrew_j - 01-27-2010 D_Eclipse9916 Wrote:Congrats on getting a good suspension setup. What really sold me was the lifetime warranty from koni and ground control. Makes not having to worry about things like potholes so much better. terdcivic Wrote:I love seeing clean Hondas; I don't see many in person, but with a few newer MM members rocking them hopefully I will this semester!! Thanks man. You can definitely hit me up on some suspension stuff, I got all of it at a really good price by knowing where to look ![]() If anyone is curious to what is on the agenda now, here it is. -Password, Spoon, or ITR front and rear strut tower bracing -New rims (hopefully trading soon) -Axxis ultimate brake pads -New tires (come summer time) -Pulling off the AEM intake and selling it (good riddance) -Undisclosed security enhancements -HOPEFULLY a JDM ITR swap with trans. Found a good deal on one with 1500 miles on it! Re: Andrew_J - Sijray21 - 02-02-2010 very nice 'teg - makes me miss mine i had the same set-up with 500# springs on all four corners on my '98 RS - loved it Re: Andrew_J - WRXtranceformed - 02-06-2010 A buddy of mine who lives down in Charlotte now used to have a 500whp boosted white Teg that looked almost exactly like yours that he terrorized noVA with. It was an awesome looking car and stupid fast. He ended up getting into a lot of trouble with it though, he ran from the police while doing some stupid street racing on the beltway late at night. They actually sent a helicopter after him and he outran it on the Greenway all the way back to his house in Ashburn. Unfortunately for him, they got his license plate number, arrested him the next day at work, and he was forced to sell the car. Anyway that's my story time for the day! Great looking car

Great looking car With a little bit of money (by a little I mean a lot lol) they can be quite fast cars that perform. Sucks he had to sell it though. ![]() New rims, fresh paint on the lip, and the sides are now painted to match as well. Just to update this a little. Re: Andrew_J - Sijray21 - 04-29-2010 the painted side skirts make a big difference IMO great lookin' teg  |
