R&T not good enough for you

- Feersty - 08-19-2004

Nice Steel Grey, shouldn't it be in appearance and cosmetic though?

- G.Irish - 08-19-2004

Clicky Pow = vvomen

should, but i was bringing the entire car up for discussion, not just the color

You're post about the color of the STI was in the correct forum, i believe this is in the correct one as well

gotta love the steel grey bling though

the torque is VERY comparable to the STI now and it's supposidly lighter, seems like a great buy, but i bet it'll be at a higher price

They've got little fins on the roof too...wonder if that helps much

at high speeds they do. forgot where i read it...

- Evan - 08-19-2004

yeah, they smooth out the flow of air coming off the roof.
Turbulence coming off the roof of a sedan/"3 box" style car is a significant source of drag. This is also why the wings on these cars are so big, to catch the air coming off the roof - not just for downforce.

and here I bet you guys thought it was just for looks :p

i knew they wouldn't put it on a high performance sports car outside the US for simply looks, but didn't know their actual purpose....a sports car that's strictly in the US, good possibility for $$BLING$$ for customers

And Bilsteins IIRC

edit: Except that article is all speculation. The USDM MR doesn't get much in the way of a power increase.

Official specs from Mitsu:

edit 2: We get the floral print Recaros again
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://forums.evolutionm.net/showthread.php?t=93857">http://forums.evolutionm.net/showthread.php?t=93857</a><!-- m -->

<- floral print WRX seats

i remember reading car magazine which said that mitsu was making a different evo in europe. it was like the HQ or something like that. limited production of 300 total, and it was 400hp from the same 2L block. i believe the price tag was equivalent to like $70k us dollars whatever that is in euros. i cant find any info about it though. i really wanna see that though.

HKS, it is discussed at the end of the R&T article.

indeed. there are quite a few motors that can handle that stock with no reliability probs at all.
