Danny (moron with the Volvo) - DannyDs70 - 09-07-2009 Hey MM... My name is Danny and I'm a first year senior. I did CoB for two years and switched over to Elementary Education this past year so I'm here for the long haul (5 year program...trying to get it done in 3). Car is a 1998 Volvo S70 T5 with 133k miles on it. Specs are 2.3 L inline 5 with a poor excuse for a turbo (Mitsu TD04 16T boosting 10 psi) attached to it. Couldn't find any 5 speeds close to me so I have the wonderful 4 speed automatic paired with a lovely FWD transmission... Rated at 236 hp and 244 ft/lb of torque. Given it's been 11 years since the car came out of the factory, I'd say those numbers are way off :lol: Mods are: Koni Adjustable Shock/Strut set up IPD 1.75 inch lowering sport springs Silicone turbo hoses EST CAI (doesn't do squat but it does sound nice!) ABM projector headlights Removed the groceries and soccer equipment from the trunk 6000K lows and fogs Spray bombed white rims Other misc color matched parts Attempted a bit of a two tone interior AEM Boost Gauge Sweet moose stickers CF trunk insert 20% tint all around That's all I can think of, have had the car for a little over a year. Here are some progress pics: Stock Projectors/Grille Engine Wheels Painted "Two tone" interior Tint/removed spoiler/lowered I joined MM because I'd like to learn a lot more about cars other than Volvos, and I'd love to take my car out and really learn how to drive it efficiently on AutoX and the track. A used 5 speed will pop up from time to time but I just don't have the funds to throw into a manual swap right now.
