Nice Jetta, glad to see you got it with the proper transmission! I like your Accord too - those and the later 80s/early 90s ones are interesting cars, very neat.

that accord is kind of like a time capsule, with that body kit and wheel combo you get the feel of a nice 90's modified look.

Thats awesome, my parents had a Volvo 240DL turdwagon in powder blue when I was born but I still have fond memories of that car to this day. I'm amazed at how clean you've been able to keep the Accord, nicely done! :bow:

Thanks guys. The Accord really is my pride and joy. I remember telling my parents since I was 10 that I wanted that car, so they saved that car for me even though I have two older brothers. They just bought them a new car.
I drove it to New York this past summer. The thing still gets 31/32 mpg. And doesnt burn any oil, doesn't smoke. The motor in those Accords really do last forever. I've been on "www.3geez.com" (a forum for 3rd Generation Accords) since 2003, and there are people on there with 400k+ miles on the original motor and tranny. My car needs a water pump now, so I'm just going to go ahead and change the Timing belt again while im at it. Probably the drive belts as well.

is Honda or some other sponsor offering some crazy reward for hitting 1 million miles or anything? i think i remember Cabell talking about once you join the million mile club with old mercedes, they just give you a car. justtttt give it to you.
come out next wednesday to the meet at the Warsaw Deck! i think its at 630

Volvo did it - not sure about MB. They gave Irv Gordon a new C70 after his 1966 P1800 made it 2 million miles. I think he's up to about 2.6 million now. His story is here.

Yeah, Honda's pretty good about giving something for hitting a million mile's. And its very possible to do with most of their cars.

I'll def. try to make it out to the meet on Wednesday. Also, f.y.i. I know I saw you driving your Z through pheasant run. If you live there, watch out. I parked there one night and came out the next morning to a broken drivers side mirror hanging by wires.

Yeah i live in Warrenton but I worked in Manassas so that's probably why you saw me. Im definately going to lower the car as soon as possible. Feels like im riding in a Buick compared to the Honda.
