Detailed all week - SlimKlim - 08-21-2009

I took off work to "get ready for school" last week, and spent all of this week futzing with my car. Smile

Attempted a half decent photoshoot today on the justification it might not look this good again for a while.

I've spent all week repairing little things and waxing her, as I've been getting ready to move to school.

Jake, need to make sure there are some stickers we have available. Next time I am down or you guys come to a NASA event you need to bring some. I need one, Kyle needs one cause his says Motorsorts lol, and Matt was asking for one this past weekend, and also Mike D'Amico. Also need to make our yearly dues.

BTW- Nice m3, looks like we are going to have some good autox battles with the current students this year.

O-Team meeting tonight and we're ordering stickers and shirts tomorrow. I know the feeling - mine said Motorspots for a while.

This is probably a first, but I agree with Adam. People fuck with nice cars in H'burg. I don't know why, but they do.

Really, my SHO was hit 2x on the bumpers and received about 10 door dings over 3 years, and I was incredibly lucky compared to DJ / Shea / Mike D, Lee, etc...

I would at at least lower your comprehensive deductible to $250 or below, you will most likely use it 2 or 3 times.

Take what others have to say about protecting your car to heart. The best defense is to just be smart - don't park it where parties are, or move it if so asap if you see something starting. Also, try not to park anywhere near a footpath or a typical drunk-walk route. During block party weekend park it in one of the Luray caverns.

Maybe I was real lucky, but for two years I kept my old Supra under a cover, with bungee cords, and gave everyone a look of fire and brimstone and I avoided any serious problems. If you ever need a garage to work on it in for an evening one weekend LMK.

Glad you guys like it. Looking forward to getting together with you guys so our cars can meet each other. Maybe if my ///M3 falls in love with an STi we could make a RWD Boosted I-6 with a nice notchy gearbox. mmmmmm.
