turns out they are similar but not the same. Borax is sodium borate, where Oxiclean is sodium percarbonate. Basically it turns into hydrogen peroxide when mixed with water which is what does the cleaning.
anyway, BM was less weird and affected my life more than MJ :dunno:

I know, I was just trying to point out that he was selling a product that wasnt really new by any means so his contribution to society was basically repackaging something old and yelling at you to buy it. And if him yelling isn't his lasting legacy, then his beard will surely be remembered for all of eternity.
