X-Box is Modded, OOOOH YEAH - Dragon - 08-16-2004
Bought the Halo version X-Box a few months back, solely for Halo, figured it was about time I own it myself instead of mooching off others. A friend of mine has X-Box System Link parties every Sunday night, he's actually designed his basement around them, 24 port hub that connects to 12 seperate wall jacks each having their own power jack as well. Well one of the guys that comes orders the chips and mods x-boxes for you for a minimul fee plus the hard drive of course. Well I got mine back last night, it now has a 250GB HD in it, close to 100 X-Box games, multiple emulators (NES, Super NES, N64, Gameboy, Sega Genesis, Atari 2600, TurboGraphix 16, Doom, Duke Nukem 3D, etc) with a wide variety of games for each of those emulators. Last night I was playing Zelda, Contra, Pong, Castlevania, Pole Position, and a bunch of newer X-Box titles. It's f'in sweet!!!!
X-Box - $150
Hard Drive - $250
Chip + Labor - $100
Hours upon Hours of Entertainment - Priceless

i've heard of people making incredible gaming systems with the modding of the x-box thing...still like ps2 better
, mostly for the controllermy friend bethany has the original Atari and plays it often, it's awesome.
