My father in law was an accounting major at W&M. Quit after a few weeks at Ernst & Young and went into HVAC/Plumbing/manly shit and has never looked back. Different strokes for different folks. However, we shouldn't overly sentimentalize blue collar work either. That shit is called hard work for a reason. There's a difference between wrenching on your car as a hobby and wrenching on some schmoe's car for a living.

Ask my brother about that. He works on Joe Schmoe's car everyday, and now he's looking to go back to school to get out of it. He's 24 btw. And Kaan's brother did the same thing. Though he had a little more help in the way of Audi being jerks.
