I always had a soft spot for SCC's 240 Project.

You know the one...

- ScottyB - 05-12-2009

Confusedhrug:: i guess people do read car magazines.

- Jake - 05-12-2009

I'd want the Boss Wagon from Car & Driver. Either the SHO wagon or the Impala/Caprice SS wagon would be awesome.

Those are my two go to gadgets on the shitter as well.

I like my eee pc. Sometimes streaming vid gets a little choppy, but other than that it works perfectly. The keyboard is easy enough for me to touch type.

Scotty, YES....I remember that car, and I want that as my DD. Coleman's SCC 240 was also worth noting, I have all those installments in a box somewhere....

For me, there are too many to choose from. Two that I can think of that I enjoyed reading about were HOT ROD's Project Sidewinder, a 427 FFR Cobra project:

And SCC's/Mike Kojima's 300ZX TT. The attention to detail on this car was incredible during the buildup, and its probably the nicest Z in the country.

I have no desire to play with yet another electronic device at that time of my day...

Hot Rod LS7 Solstice..

justin and/or mike, I assume you guys have the 10.2" screen? Is that too small for you guys? typing isnt a hassle with the smaller keyboard? any other likes or dislikes?

mods - feel free to start a new thread with this since its pretty off topic.

Not really a "magazine" car, but featured in Motor Trend, so I figured it counts. I'd take one! (especially if it sold for the original sticker price of ~$5233)

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.motortrend.com/classic/roadtests/c12_0612_1972_bmw_2002_tii">http://www.motortrend.com/classic/roadt ... w_2002_tii</a><!-- m -->

Think of it as a showroom-fresh, brand-new, 35-year-old car:

In early 2005, the folks at Mobile Tradition realized they stocked or could supply about 90 percent of the parts needed to not only maintain or restore a 2002, but to build a virtually brand-new one. So they did.

I assume it comes with a warranty? :dunno:

You DO realize that car is for sale in Winchester, VA...right?

Granted, the original motor is long gone, but the owner has it set up as a track car right now.

I'll grab pics the next time I head out that way.

Since no one's picked it yet, I always liked reading about SCC's time attack Miata.
