WTB: Monitor - Ryan T - 01-15-2009 So my 8 year old monitor is about to die. It's gotten to where it shakes some of the them, after it's been on for a few hours. Sometimes it's really bad and sometimes it's rather slight, but it's certaintly about to die. Anyone have a flat-screen monitor they don't need and would like to unload for a decent price? Let me know. Thanks! - jongp3 - 01-20-2009 Office Depot has some monitors for sale fairly cheap, they are going out of business. Used LCDs are hard to come by unless it has something wrong with it. (i.e. dead pixels or the back light is faded). - Sijray21 - 01-20-2009 if no one has a cheap one here i'd check buy, amazon, and newegg. they've been having some pretty good deals on monitors (17-20" wide screens for $100-$150) - PDenbigh - 01-20-2009 Check out Computer Recyclers of VA near Biglots. They'll probably give you a CRT monitor or maybe charge you $10ish? - stevegula - 01-20-2009 ever make the drive to DC? I am in Tysons and have a 17" LCD I'd give ya. - PDenbigh - 01-20-2009 Don't listen to Steve. He knows nothing about technology ;-). - .RJ - 01-20-2009 Check craigslist free section too - I gave away a free 17" CRT last year. - Maengelito - 01-20-2009 jongp3 Wrote:Used LCDs are hard to come by unless it has something wrong with it. Anyone want it? - CaptainHenreh - 01-21-2009 Maengelito Wrote:jongp3 Wrote:Used LCDs are hard to come by unless it has something wrong with it. (i.e. dead pixels or the back light is faded). If it's LCD, I'll take it. - Feersty - 01-21-2009 If you don't mind making the drive to Springfield, I have an old Trintron, flat screen, not flat panel, if you want it at my parent's house. - lgtoncoke - 01-22-2009 My TV can be used as a monitor - mrbaggio - 01-22-2009 My TV can be used as a TV. - Evan - 01-22-2009 yo dawg, I put a TV in yo TV - .RJ - 01-22-2009 Feersty Wrote:If you don't mind making the drive to Springfield, I have an old Trintron, flat screen, not flat panel, if you want it at my parent's house. I can pick it up next time I hook it with your mom. - HAULN-SS - 01-22-2009 I like how my TV itself looks, not what's on the screen. - JohnC - 01-22-2009 .RJ Wrote:Feersty Wrote:If you don't mind making the drive to Springfield, I have an old Trintron, flat screen, not flat panel, if you want it at my parent's house. Old guy fail. The process of engaging in any sexual act with another individual. I really wanted to hook it with this gorgeous brunette last night, but she was way out of my league. I had to settle with mediocre sex with some fat chick instead. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=hook+it - .RJ - 01-22-2009 :?: - Apoc - 01-22-2009 .RJ Wrote::?: See... back in the old days... kids used to say "hook up". When you have a kid, your terminology knowledge instantly freezes and you're unable to learn newer, current phrases. Also, I think the Junkies use "hook it" to describe masturbation. - .RJ - 01-22-2009 the :?: was meant for John... |
