Rotor bolt help - Scott - 12-13-2008 Adding to my bad car week, my brother comes over with his Accord and with no rear pads left on the car. No problem, got rotors and pads and got the air in the air for what should be a 30min job. Well side one, no problem. We get to the other side, and someone has stripped the screw that holds the rotor in place. Any tricks for getting it off? - navin - 12-13-2008 Hmm, I never keep those screws in anyways. But I'd say maybe drill it out, or I think Craftsman has the "screw-out" type things now. - Maengelito - 12-13-2008 Once I remove that bolt, I leave it out as well. At this point, I'd just drill it out. - Mike - 12-13-2008 drill it, leave it out. - Dave - 12-14-2008 must be a honda thing, but +1 for not putting it back in. - Sijray21 - 12-14-2008 i hate those screws - Ole - 12-17-2008 Drill Drill Drill - Evan - 12-17-2008 RJ always puts them back in. I think its a honda fanboi thing. leave it out, it serves no purpose - Scott - 12-17-2008 I drilled it out, and did not replace the screws. |
