Finaly got a new car - Madden - 11-28-2008

Just got back from picking up my car, guess the moped got a new friend. Here are some quick pics, better pictures tomorrow. I'm completely drained from driving 8 hours in a car that wasnt built with roadtrips in mind...

What!? Dude, nice choice, congrats! Not bad for a JMU student. You best bring that thing around next semester, esp. when the weather is nice!

- WRXtranceformed - 11-28-2008

Holy snap dude, that's definitely a sick ride for a college kid! You've definitely earned it though with all those hours you've put in painting and such. I personally would NOT bring that around JMU too often if you're not fond of paying insurance deductibles for body damage, but that's just me!

Congrats!!

By the way I saw your car last week and it sounded amazing!
I was walking by festival and everyone was turning around to look.

- Feersty - 11-29-2008

Sweet ride. You and Seddon have something in common.

do you really think jmu douches are ... douchey enough to key a lotus?!?

Absolutely. I think it would be even more of a target Sad I would seriously consider scoping out a super safe spot for it if you're going to have it in the 'burg.

yep. i wouldn't get that thing anywhere near jmu.

I remember seeing a student with a red one last year. It could've just been his father's car that he had for the weekend, but I probably saw it 3-4 times.

Ryan, where do you live currently/next year? How safe is your area?

- Madden - 11-29-2008

i live right across the street from copper beach, by avalon woods. I feel pretty comfortable parking it at my house, but the school parking lots are what get me worried. I have a garage I can use at my house at school so i should be good.

FWIW, I haven't had a parking pass for the last year and I don't miss it one bit - trying to find a spot, dealing with traffic and worrying about your car. Next year I'll have a garage and I plan on taking the bus like this year...
