Good deal on Ryobi cordless stuff at Hope Depot - BLINGMW - 11-18-2008 Not really "car" tools, but for you homeowners out there: http://tinyurl.com/6nzbls Well at least I thought it was a good deal. You can get their "starter kit" for $109. Comes with a decent drill (a CR best buy) and small circular saw. Pick another tool for free. I went for the reciprocating saw. This stuff uses outdated NiCad batteries, but there are plenty of $300 kits that still do too, and at least these are 18V. I was surprised how much power they have. Plenty for my occasional use. - HAULN-SS - 11-18-2008 Not too bad for softcore use, but the drills in those kits are usually a lot cheaper than the ones you buy standalone, which cost as much as the whole kit. No quick change chuck, 3/8" chuck instead of 1/2", no auto level light, etc... just throwing it out there FWIW |
