couldnt figure out why my car took so long to boost.... and why it whoooooshed under boost....

teh gasket was ripzored!!! Confusedhock:

The dark spots are oil and grime deopsits from the vac/boost leak


vw wanted 20 bucks for the gasket... germanautoparts.com wants 3 bucks. Its ordered and will be here wed :lol:

You told me your ECU was trying to recalculate mixtures on the fly.

yea, its cycling. The ecu is programed so that when it sees below .45 volts from the 02 sensor it bumps the fueling up, then it sees ablove .45v it begins to cut it. This way the mixture is constantly being adjusted.

The leak would account for SOME of my digilag, and the longer spooling time. :wink:
