Subaru Owners? - lgtoncoke - 10-01-2008 I keep seeing a ton of people around driving subarus just wondering who is out there? and if anyone would ever be down for working on my legacy with me sometime? - kcook - 10-01-2008 hey man , my name is kcook on nasioc. i posted in the jmu/hburg thread a bunch im down at jmu every other weekend - lgtoncoke - 10-01-2008 yeah im trying to get them going more often but my work always has me working like thursday friday saturday so it makes it tough to get it on a good day - ScottyB - 10-01-2008 not exactly at JMU anymore but if you have any questions... - WRXtranceformed - 10-01-2008 Same, I'm retired from the Subaru community and I'm down in Charlotte but I'm happy to chime in with whatever advice I can give Maeng has an STi and is in Charlottesville not too far from you guys.

So anytime basically-- - DierwulfBL - 10-01-2008 I've worked on a few subarus in my day (96 outback, 91 leggy turbo, 93 leggy, 86 gl hatch, 88 gl5 turbo) i know a group of guys that can do anything to subies, and if you dont feel like doin the work yourself they dont charge much. Things ive helped with are: tranny swaps, clutches, headgaskets, motor/tranny swap, and helped put 2.5gt suspension on an outback. So if you ever need an extra hand sometime lemme know, im not pro but i got numbers to pros(literally). AIM SN is same as on here, hit me up sometime - flintster55 - 10-01-2008 I'm always up for working on subys or anything too. Send me a message on here on nasioc (same SN) if you ever want to work on somthing or hang out. Post up a thread on here too and you'll get a good turn out of other people too - Ryan T - 10-01-2008 Let me know if you guys need parts, I work for Subaru. - Apoc - 10-01-2008 Ryan T Wrote:Let me know if you guys need parts, I work for Subaru. short shifter?
- WRXtranceformed - 10-01-2008 Apoc Wrote:Ryan T Wrote:Let me know if you guys need parts, I work for Subaru. Kartboy. - Apoc - 10-01-2008 Convince me why I don't want an OEM part that seems to serve the purpose. - WRXtranceformed - 10-01-2008 I've used both and the Kartboy is much crisper and has much shorter shifts. - Goodspeed - 10-01-2008 Sweet jesus....the Subaru people...they're....multiplying.
- balactm - 10-01-2008 i also have a legacy wagon...however it's not quite as bawlin as yours...not even close. - lgtoncoke - 10-01-2008 its ok we love all subarus... If yall are interested in meets and stuff i have a thread on nasioc that i monter closer than this one just because i find nasioc easier to use.. so here is the thread with more info. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthr ... ?t=1579214 - lgtoncoke - 10-01-2008 Ryan T Wrote:Let me know if you guys need parts, I work for Subaru. I don't have a problem at all getting you a short shifter Apoc, just let me know! - DierwulfBL - 10-02-2008 Ryan T Wrote:Let me know if you guys need parts, I work for Subaru. oh lordy, you blew your cover ryan. I know my boy needs some stuff for a subie (clutch master cylinder, ball joints) I'll ask him what all he needs and see if we can't work somethin out :-D |
