That is what I was about to say. Seems like those will be theft targets for the next ten years. My favorite color too. Good luck to your sis Blair. - JackoliciousLegs - 08-22-2008 I'll keep my eye out around SF. No seriously. That sucks. I'm really sorry. - John - 08-22-2008 Why would you want it back? Once it's stolen, you don't want it back... - BLAIR - 08-22-2008 John Wrote:Why would you want it back? Once it's stolen, you don't want it back... it all depends.. overall i wouldnt want it back, but depending on its value to you and how much you would get from insurance, in some cases it would be better to get it back assuming its not fucked up. The car was super clean and only 65k miles. My sister never even ate in the car, owned it since new, and had no plans on replacing it any time soon. With what insurance will give her, she wont be able to replace it. And who says anything about wanting it back. I wouldnt mind giving an assbeating to the fucker who took it and put his ass in jail. - John - 08-22-2008 There's a 99% chance that the car is trashed beyond belief - and with that chance, you don't want the car back. Trust me, from an insurance perspective, you don't want it back. She'll just have to argue with the insurance company about it's value... - .paul - 08-25-2008 damn, beth had that for a long while. I live near her, have not seen any around. - BLAIR - 08-26-2008 found stripped in PG sunday night.. surprise surprise - CaptainHenreh - 08-26-2008 BLAIR Wrote:found stripped in PG sunday night.. surprise surprise Lo sentimos acerca de su coche, esse. - Mike - 08-26-2008 i don't understand how it could be so difficult to get these guys... i mean, shit, if everyone on the fucking internet knows where the car is going to end up, and car theft IS kind of a serious crime... how hard could it be? - John - 08-26-2008 Mike Wrote:i don't understand how it could be so difficult to get these guys... i mean, shit, if everyone on the fucking internet knows where the car is going to end up, and car theft IS kind of a serious crime... how hard could it be? Simple / short answer - because it's not a revenue generator. "Protect and serve" is no longer a benefactor to the citizens, rather is oriented towards the municipalities' mission. |
