111 mph traps have now.. - KPWSerpiente - 07-25-2004 ..become a reality. 13.6xx E.T's are still the norm though. I had a great time Friday and then Sunday again at the track, hope everyone else who ran their car somewhere did as well. I swear I'm buying slicks asap. -T - ScottyB - 07-25-2004 damn. thats pretty cool considering old vipers trap at like 112 stock, i think. what are your 60 foots btw? overall, looking good man. keep us updated. - Sijray21 - 07-25-2004 nice...those are quick times and fast traps - Mike - 07-25-2004 sell gs-t, buy gs-x. ps - what is your 60'? - Ryan T - 07-25-2004 I'm gonna guess his 60' is somewhere around 2.1-2.2 since he has such severe traction issues. - .RJ - 07-25-2004 Bah, even my hamfisted non-drag racing stunna shiftin ass pulled a 2.2 60'
- KPWSerpiente - 07-25-2004 ^nothing like a factory LSD and no boost to bring out the best. My fastest 60 foots are high 2.3's. 1/8 is 9 flat to 9.2 @ 84-87. -T - Ryan T - 07-25-2004 you gotta get that 60' down. Get some traction bars, tires, anything. 2.0 60' and you'll be in the 12's. - Mike - 07-26-2004 Feather the clutch even... I don't know drag racing, but I know that'd help. - CaptainHenreh - 07-26-2004 maybe a 2-stage boost controller? I don't know how hard you're pushing that 16G. But maybe some lower boost off the start would help your traction issues. Or maybe some naaawz. You need two bottles. Big ones. By tonight. - JackoliciousLegs - 07-26-2004 Oh, and harry... - Eclipsor - 07-28-2004 I was running 7.9@90 in the 1/8 on pump gas, a small 16G, and stock cams. That was in 95 deg summer heat with a high 1.6 sec 60' time. Granted, it's AWD, but that goes to show how much of a difference the 60' time makes. Practice, practice, practice. Chris |
