Not surprising... we've been falling into a recession for a while. The whole country is going to be impacted across the board. We're seeing it in the insurance industry for sure.

A zombie apocalypse, while tragic in the short run, would probably be good for the economy in the long run.

Think about it: After we got back on our feet, we could reanimate corpses to do basic jobs, and the reduced population, no matter what their previous employment, would be hard pressed to go unemployed, since the job market would have many positions open.

i can gaurantee that morgues, funeral homes, hazmat waste removal and crime scene cleanup businesses would be booming.

it would be good for the individual, but our GDP would gown with those less workers
