Feels good to be back on two-wheels - Sijray21 - 02-08-2008 Just thought i'd post up the newest addition to the motorcycle MM family. Picked her up today and i couldn't be happier with the purchase! :-D She's a georgeous 2004 SV 650s with factory plastics. The previous owner took incredible care of her and is moving on to a more touring oriented motorcycle. She has about 9.5k miles and everything is stock except for the tires (Pilot Powers) and the tank protector. I even got a camera gas-tank mount. I already love the way the little v-twin sounds and how much torque is available. The high-end is hurting in power compared to the RR, but i can't really use it on the street safely anyway. The insurance policy cost is also pretty nice compared to the RR. Anyway, here are some pictures - just thought i'd share ![]() and of course the obligatory RJ love penis money-shot: - Ginger - 02-08-2008 Way to go, JRay. We gotta get our ride on. I hear those wheelie easy
- DavidM - 02-08-2008 Congrats, I really like the look of the SV...I considered buying one for my first bike but went with the GS500 instead, a little less power probably a little safer for a newbie. Maybe in a year or too i'll upgrade. - Sijray21 - 02-08-2008 DavidM Wrote:Congrats, I really like the look of the SV...I considered buying one for my first bike but went with the GS500 instead, a little less power probably a little safer for a newbie. Someone should collect them all and post them. You think it sounds nice now, wait 'til you put a Yosh pipe on that thing. - ScottyB - 02-09-2008 whoa Jay, i didn't know you were in the market dude! that is a solid looking bike. V-twins sound so awesome, enjoy it. did the RR go to a good home? - Sijray21 - 02-09-2008 Apoc Wrote:You think it sounds nice now, wait 'til you put a Yosh pipe on that thing. right now i'm thinking the Leo Vince High-Mount  ScottyB Wrote:did the RR go to a good home? http://mmsports.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6847 insurance ended up totalling it and i took the money and ran :-P - Apoc - 02-09-2008 Sijray21 Wrote:right now i'm thinking the Leo Vince High-Mount  Play on playa! - WRXtranceformed - 02-09-2008 Nice bike buddy!! - Feersty - 02-10-2008 Nice color . Hopefully you don't see any dogs in the near future.
- mrbaggio - 02-11-2008 Let's ride son. I just need to replace my battery. - Nis01 - 02-18-2008 JRay the bike looks great with the lower fairing. Very nice. I am actually looking into something similar at the moment, I might shoot you some questions if you don't mind. - Sijray21 - 02-19-2008 let the questions fly -- i know RJ and Deracola can probably answer them as well |
