Superbowl - Evan - 02-03-2008

wow.

The best superbowl Ive seen.
And good triumphed over evil.

game, commercials etc, discuss.

- WRXtranceformed - 02-03-2008

Wow I can't believe it! I didn't win in any of the pools I was in Sad That's all I really cared about ha.

It was nice to see Eli get out of his brother's shadow. I don't think the Giants are anywhere close to as good of a team overall as the Patriots, but I think their defense definitely outplayed the Patriots. Defense is what won that game, not Eli's lucky ass 3rd down dodge-a-sack hail mary with like 1:00 left.

- Apoc - 02-03-2008

Great, great Superbowl.

The ETrade ads had me laughing pretty hard.

agreed, it was thoroughly entertaining. except good didnt triumph over evil. the lesser of two evils triumphed over the mother of all evils. eli's scramble and pass to tyree who caught it on his helmet was un-fuckin'-believable! its a weird feeling to root this hard for the giants who i normally hate.

So happy to see the Pats go down. Belicheck is a complete douche for walking off field - what a classless sack of sh!t.

Agreed. I'm so pumped that the Pats lost, but I'm so pissed that the Giants won. I was basically rooting for fumbles, interceptions and overall terrible plays.

So does anyone else get the feeling that Giselle beats Tom Brady When he loses? He's totally getting a whooping later tonight.

yeah i couldn't even believe that. what a dick.

best superbowl i can remember in terms of edge-of-your-seat-ness. i think they were pretty well matched teams, although i admit i was expecting a blowout. the best part is imagining all the pricks up in NE walking home in silence after having their godlike team beaten in the game that matters most. ha!

commercial i got the most laughs out of was the doritos mouse commercial. best car commercial was the R8/godfather commercial.

I can't ever remember jumping out of my chair for another NFC East team. The best part for me was watching the defensive line get to Brady on what seemed like every play. Too bad you can't give the MVP to that line.

- Hunter - 02-04-2008

Oh and to address the greatest super bowl ever topic, I read an interesting article earlier this week. It said that based on regular season stats, the patriots were the greatest team to ever play in a super bowl and the giants were the worst. It's a little misleading because the giants didn't start playing great football until the very end of the season and the playoffs. If I can find the article again I'll post it up.

i'm pretty sure giselle left brady for tom caughlin after the game

Oh it's funny... it's very funny. That should shut a lot of assholes up for the time being.

well, when it doesnt affect the Redskins, I root for just about any NFC-east team out of divisional pride.

and the patriots are the purest form of evil in the history of sports (with the possible exception of the "black sox"). even the cowboys are less evil.

brady got killed this game, and i hate Eli, but im glad they one

my favorite quote "Previously Perfect Pats"

Couldn't agree with you more. The Giants' D won the game, not Eli.

- Sijray21 - 02-04-2008

Great D by the Giants. Brady never really got the opportunity to get a good pass down. The 1st half was SOO quick and boring. The 2nd half was great. The commercials were 'ok' and the theme should be 'animals...we must include one for every commercial'.

- Kaan - 02-04-2008

Great D... but damn the game was boring until the 4th quarter.

- .paul - 02-04-2008

shows the class of about 90% of the pats team, walk away at the end of the game.

they were just following their coach Wink

i too am tired of the "give it to the qb of the winning team" mentality that has taken over. eli had an ok game... that tuck dude had an amazing game.

- Maengelito - 02-08-2008

apparently, hitler is a cowboys fan
