got another SC..(in a super rare combo) - BLAIR - 01-28-2008

Sat. I drove 8 hours and back up to northern Mass. to pick up an SC. The car is a 95 black on black 5 speed. There were only 700 5 speed SCs made in 95 and probably only 200ish black on black 5 speeds ever. Black interior in any color is super rare. The car has been sitting in the back of a shop for about a year, because the head gasket blew. A freind of mine told me about it and I expressed an interest in it and I got it at a killer price ( 500 bucks). My original plan was to take the black interior for my car and put my tan into this car, but I think Im going to keep this car stock.. clean it up and get it road worthy again and sell it. I also have already purchased another motor to put into it. ( 200 bucks) The car can deff use some TLC and cleaning, but its a complete bone stock car. I am very happy with it

When I got there I was surprised to see the sc under about 4 feet of snow. It took me 2 hours to dig it out of the snow and ice.

Nice pickup Blair. I commend for you for going through with the unearthing of the car under all that snow. I would have told them I'd be back in a couple months after it all thawed. :lol:

actually, at current market value, he wouldn't have any problem. I was assuming $250 in extra parts and labor, bringing his total to $1000. He can easily sell that car for $5k considering the combination, and thus a 400% profit, not to mention being able to use it for a DD for an untold period of time before recognizing said profit on the books.
If he waits till race warz, all bets are off :-).

I'll second G's nomination, this'll be a hard one to beat.

i have 5 cars.. 4 that run perfect and are DD able. Although this would make an awesome DD, I just dont need one.

the truck is a brand new loaded 08 ram (cant beat working for a car company)

But overall plan is to fix the car. Ill have about a grand into it when its ready to sell and dave was spot on with the price. I can sell the car for 5k easy. and thats the plan.

But whats new.. I always buy and sell cars to make money. Not including company cars this is my 20th car. :lol:
