MM Snow Day 1/17 Pics - Goodspeed - 01-18-2008

So the strangest thing happened.....today, school was cancelled due to bad weather. Bummed by the news, a few MM'ers and friends decided to head out and do various charitable acts when we got lost and ended up in a huge, empty parking lot strangely far from other people. This lot was covered in snow and ice, and we just couldn't make our way out of it without sliding around constantly...how silly!

Someone needs to teach you how to do a proper dry pavement doughnut anyway. Your shenanigans at bob wade were shameful!

Yes great times yesterday! Especially DJ and I having practically a half turn of steering or less in each direction because of so much snow packed in the fender wells behind the wheels.

It was the first chance I've had to take the WRX out in any snow since I just picked it up this summer and I have to say I was more than pleased with it. Coming from a civic, I was used to big time understeer problems, but there was little to none in the WRX. Oversteer I noticed was fairly common even on accident but it was always easily correctable. I'd say I probably drove a good 50 miles or so yesterday just getting used to the car and how it handled in the snow and throughout the day it never once had me not feeling in control.

A few pics I took as well...
