help! faulty injector/o-ring - balactm - 01-15-2008

I think either my fuel injector or the o-ring for the injector has stopped functioning properly and is leaking fuel. Does anyone have a place where i can use some tools and see what it actually is and possibly fix it?

awesome. can i come by tomorrow?

is it shooting fuel out at the seat of the injector?

i noticed the smell when i was driving back from massanutten last night. and when i looked at it in the wendy's parking lot i could that it was leaking from the last one in the series (#4 piston) and i could see some kind of smoke or something coming out of the bottom of the injector (not where the fuel rail is, but where it connects with the head). I hope that helps. I'm sorry, I could barely see what was going on last night.

Might as well replace all of the o-rings - some of them may tear when you take the fuel rail off (I'm assuming this is the 87 MR2).

yeah i figured i might as well do that since they're only like 7 bucks...
