Supercharged 350Z - Mike - 01-07-2008

Former coworker is selling his car. Older guy, car has not been ragged on AT ALL. Never been to the strip, never been to the track... really, the car has seen boost maybe like 10 times. Of those times, I was in the car twice (he took it up to maybe 50mph?) and I can attest that this thing has some serious balls.

I don't have all the details yet, but it is a silver 350Z (not the track model), has an ATI supercharger, Borla exhaust, and a very nice Alpine head unit. I think he said it has around 370hp and 325ft/lbs to the wheels?

He's asking $16,000.

got the details Wrote:2003 Nissan 350Z Performance, 6spd

A/C, Driver Airbag, Passenger Airbag, Side Curtain Airbag, Alarm, Alloy Wheels, Anti-Lock Brakes (w/Ceramic Brake Pads - dustless), Bucket Seats, Cruise Control, Power Locks, Power Steering, Power Windows, Rear Window Defroster, Rear Window Wiper, Remote Keyless Entry, Tinted Glass

Performance Options: ATI ProCharger, w/Intercooler, Fuel Management System and ECU Reflash - professionally installed and maintained by Altered Atmosphere (dynoed at 363 RWHP), 41k miles, Blk int, Silver ext, 2 dr, Borla Dual Cat-Exhaust, Alpine CD/XM/MP3/iPod Stereo, high-end aftermarket speakers, Extended Warranty, Mobil One from day one, serviced regularly at Brown's Nissa (maintenance record available), tires are 1 year old - Very Tight!

I'm seriously considering selling the S to pick this up... it's that sweet a car (minus the baby brakes).[/quote]

Seems like an excellent deal. Daily drive worthy?

yep, it's stock except for some extra reliable power.

- BLINGMW - 01-08-2008

how sad. Why get a supercharger to use it 10 times? That's like, ~$500 per time?

Mike, why would you want this car for your 3 mile commute? What's the point?

- Mike - 01-08-2008

it isn't a good idea for my 3 mile commute. heck, having a 2nd car altogether isn't a good idea. if i'm going to keep going with a bad idea, why not try something different?

when all is said and done, i don't think the s will sell for what i want to get for it.

- ScottyB - 01-08-2008

so why is he selling it? bored? needs money?

i guess if you know the guy you don't need to second guess it but i always get a weird feeling when i see a car with that much invested being sold with hardly any use.

he took on a new position and needs 4-seats. he went with a 335.
