soo on top of that ticket on wednesday, i awoke this morning to discover some massive douche nailed my car and took off... talked to some of the other MM members earlier, probably in the area of $1500 or so in damage.. they were nice enough to leave me a present though, the broken cover to a "Hella" series foglight. based on the damage, im betting the farm that it was a wrangler.. the foglight cover was white, if you happen to seen a wrangler with a broken driver side headlight cover, please, let me know and catch the license plate.....

in the meantime, good local body shops?

do you have comprehensive insurance on the car? i'd file a hit-n-run claim

get the body shop to throw in an extra 150$ in damage or whatever to cover your ticket if you have insurance...win win!

Or if you own the car, get the largest estimate you can, and request a check, then take it some where cheaper.
Problem is if the damage is over 60% of the value of the car they will most likely total it. Sad

all good ideas, the car is in no way totaled. just a pain in my ass. will take some time to get shit straightened out, as far as insurance policy, itll be interesting to see because my mom and i are on the same policy, she almost totaled her lexus last winter.. i got a ticket this week, she might not wanna use our insurance at the moment.. im kinda hoping ill catch the guy who did it.. i have a feeling it was someone drunk who lives in the commons tryin to find a parking spot late at night

Your insurance will most likely not find out about the ticket until way later IF they run a report on your record, which they probably won't.
It's a good bet someone who lives there probably did it. Although if they were smart they won't park anywhere near you for awhile. But if they were smart they probably wouldn't have hit you in the first place. So good luck

You live in the bottom row of the Commons right? Well one of my really good friends lives in 895 so I'm over there quite a bit but I see an older white Wrangler parked outside the bottom set of apartments closest to Port Rd. Next time I see him there I'll check for the foglights but if you live there you'll probably see him before I will as I see his Jeep a good 7/10 times I'm there

Yea the guy is a total jerk, really cocky too. His name is kevin I think actually because he used to date one of my friends. But I'll see if I can get his last name for from her just in case and I'll definitely keep an eye out for him.
