Ran 4 times today (Sunday) at MIR during NOPI East Coast Nationals or whatever they call it.
Best time went like:
14.058 @ 108.02 mph.
Yes that is a .4 second decrease in the e.t. and 8 more mph in the trap.
Yes it is still slow. Someday I will hit the e.t.s the car is capable of.
I might be getting some slicks to go with the planned suspension...
Different from last time: New clutch/new flywheel, fresher tires set at 25psi, racegas, more boost and some better on site tuning.
Going against me was a full tank...I filled up with racegas to play with this week thinking I wouldn't get a chance to run at all...of course they opened it up for everyone right after I did that.
Boost was estimated at 25psi...I never looked at the gauge while going down the track so I spooled it up going home to see what it was set at and it was something like that.
If anyone wants to hit the track for midnight madness this friday, I will be going back to try and get the low 13's I think I can hit. As always, I will pay for Evan if he brings either car.

whoa, your trap speed is pretty wild. are you going to look into an LSD at some point, or should the slicks pretty much take care of that easily?

I have no clue. I will do an LSD for sure only when I have the transmission rebuilt and who knows when that will happen. Hopefully slicks will take care of this problem but we'll see about that when I have a chance.
As for the traps being crazy...nah. I'm still looking for 111+
I also would have given a write up on this event or taken pictures but I think last time NOPI was brought up on this board it was determined that only ricers attend.
If anyone wants to find out about the record setting 6 seconds passes or see pictures of some of the quickest supras on earth you might have to go to NOPI's page.

need a faster car... lol. j/k. Obviously since you have a fwd car, just understand that your car is still balls fast... but it only TRULY shows it on the highway. Don't worry about it. You're gettin there.

Went to the track again. 13.739 @ 109.37, 2.418 60 foot.
Picked up another mile per hour and 3/10ths. Still think I have more left in it until I switch to better suspension and slicks.
Perhaps a 13.5 @ 110 next time? I hope so. I only got 4 runs in again so I wasn't able to tune it to the max like I"m trying.
The last car I ran against, which I smoked hard was a Mach1. I was .5 seconds faster and 9 mph higher in the trap. Probably stock but I still feel good.
