Moto GP - Misano - .RJ - 08-31-2007 2nd free practice session canceled due to heavy rain.... http://www.crash.net/picture~cid~0~id~1 ... ~pid~2.htm ![]() Race on Speed TV, Sunday 4pm. - G.Irish - 08-31-2007 Not good for the first weekend back at the track that paralyzed Rainey. Hopefully the rain will wash any silt on the track off, but at the same time it is going to be pretty green. - Apoc - 08-31-2007 Anyone want any bets while I'm in Vegas? 8am Sunday, right? Damn that's 5am there. - .RJ - 08-31-2007 http://www.roadracingworld.com...30083 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() [/QUOTE] - Ginger - 08-31-2007 Misano has some nasty dust.. Roberts thinks that it's a good part of the reason that Rainey off'd the way he did. Aside from washing away rubber I think the rain would be a nice favor for the riders. - G.Irish - 08-31-2007 Actually now that I think about it the flooding will probably make the dust/silt problem worse because as the water recedes its going to leave a shit load of mud and dirt behind. The TC is definitely going to get a workout this weekend. I guess this also means that the support class races will be prett - Ginger - 08-31-2007 I hadn't thought of that. I think it's pretty amazing that you could go swimming in some of those turns and they still believe they're going to be able to hold the race. They must have some serious equipment to play with. - .RJ - 08-31-2007 Silty soil = superfast drainage. Roebling Road will go from standing water in the paddock to bone dry with a few hours of sun - its nothing but sand. - Sijray21 - 08-31-2007 give'em jet skis and lets get this show on the road
- stevegula - 09-04-2007 Hopper does a wheelie across the checkered. Is Hopper the only one who knows how to wheelie? The rest of the guys maybe hit the 45 degree mark, but he goes for nose to the sky. And it doesn't matter what position he's in, if he's got a gap he does it. - G.Irish - 09-04-2007 Yes Hopper officially is the 2007 Moto GP wheelie champion. The only problem with his cool wheelies is that he has nowhere to go with them when he wins a race. But who knows, maybe he's saving a 12 o'clock for that occasion. - stevegula - 09-04-2007 G.Irish Wrote:Yes Hopper officially is the 2005,2006, and 2007 Moto GP wheelie champion. Winning his race in the rain, he went up on one and then kicked out a leg. |
