That is a "real" Shelby Dodge. The "real" only goes so far as there are basically three levels of TD. That car is not a GLHS numbered car. There were Shelby dodges that were inspired by Shelby in the middle 80's, this car is one of those. It retains the "suck through" turbo system from the first turbo motors in the Lebaron sedans. Not really a performance setup. In 86/87 Shelby actually laid his hands to the cars in what was the numbered and limited production "GLHS" cars. These are always black and are the only real modified by Shelby cars. 4-dr Omnis and 2dr Chargers. My car (The Daytona) falls into a category of post Shelby performance mopars that simply carry his name and performance goodies, not necessarily developed in any way by Shelby himself.

As dave said, most anything is faster then the daytona at the moment. I didn't read all the cardomain page, but if he has just done a stock 89 TII motor in that car (stock turbo for a TII car) then the Daytona will be faster. I started with a motor better then the one he swapped in. But as Dave points out...it no worky yet.
