BMW question - NTIman - 08-01-2007 2002 BMW 325xi Does anyone know how to reset the inspection light/message (or whatever)? (not the oil change reminder) - PDenbigh - 08-01-2007 Have you tried google? I ask because I know how to do it on a 1992 OBD1 and it's a serioes of touching pins together on the diag port for x seconds... and I found that on either google or bimmerforums. I imagine it's same but different for your application, just unsure of the specs. - NTIman - 08-01-2007 I have googled it yet, its a coworkers car, so to be honest with you, i'm not putting much effort into it yet. - JackoliciousLegs - 08-02-2007 http://www.unofficialbmw.com/e36/electr ... ights.html Same on ODBII... That help? - NTIman - 08-02-2007 I'll give him that link and see what happens, either way, thanks for the help. - white_2kgt - 08-02-2007 usually people just buy the cheap scan tool off ebay - NTIman - 08-02-2007 Yeah, that'd be the easiest way, but we're too cheap. All I know is that my car doesn't have any service reminder lights, and I thank god for that. Maybe that says something about the fine quality of my ford product. - white_2kgt - 08-02-2007 NTIman Wrote:Yeah, that'd be the easiest way, but we're too cheap. Fords are easy to reset, just unhook the battery  |
