Need to borrow a Torque Wrench. - jongp3 - 07-18-2007 I bought some brain crower stage 2 cams for 200 bucks off Honda-Tech. I plan on installing them sometime next week. However I lack a torque wrench, if anyone is in the burg that has one I can borrow next week please hit me up. PM or AIM works best. - Andy - 07-18-2007 If the B series cams are like H series cams, it's 22 lb fts so most torque wrenches won't be that accurate unless you find some with a really nice 1/4 in drive. You might be better off using torque angles for the cam holders and using the torque wrench just for your crank pulley. - jongp3 - 07-18-2007 Hrmm might just use the good ol' torque wrist gauge then for the cam holders, really just looking to get a accurate torque for the cam gear bolts. I don't plan on taking off the crank pulley, i've done a couple where all we had to do was line up TDC and slide the timing belt on and off the cam gears, its tight but doable. - PDenbigh - 07-19-2007 I have a 3/8's TW you can borrow that I just used on a project that needed 20 ft/lbs. Shoot me a PM when you need it. |
