I was walking my dog tonight and some lady couldn't keep control of her german shepherd. Pauley (my dog) wasn't barking... until the other dog had him by the neck. After all the comotion, Pauley got a puncture to the neck and a bite to the head. He is missing some fur. I didn't even feel that the dog bite me. I didn't realize it got me until I got home.
I don't really know what to do. The plan is: call vet, call my doctor. Find out where the lady and dog live and ask kindly if the dog's had its shots. I need to see what me and my dog need treatment wise (shots i guess).

You may want to file a police report so maybe the owner can pay if your dog needs any veterinary attention. If nothing else she needs to realize how serious it is to not have control of her dog.

but yeah, get in contact with the owner, see all paperwork on shots, and if you need to, take it to the authorities.

Let me know if you need some backup. Owin doesnt tolerate shit from any dogs. Lol, hes the nicest dog in the world but has never backed down from mean dogs that try to bully him. :lol: He'll kick the crap out of this dog and avenge paulys wounds.

She is responsible for her pet, and legally she is obliged to pay for your vet bills and any shots as well.
If you feel like the dog is a menace and could possibly attack other people and animals, you should report the incident to animal control.

Went to the vet last night, $115 bucks. Called the cops because my doc said it was required by law for either me, or him to call. He can't treat a dog bite without reporting it. Went all up and down the street. Didn't find the lady. Off to a doc's appt now. I'll upload pics of Pauley after the vet shaved him. poor pup.

I found the dog. Owner is paying all medical bills. Dog is getting quarantined for 10 days to get evaluated. Oh, and it looks like a wolf... scary. I'll let you all know
