I heard a really funny and messed up injury story the other day. One of my brother's friends who lives in our development was riding a rope swing out on the Shenandoah River. Apparently the swing had a bunch of knots in it so you could climb it and hold on better. Well, he swung out but somehow slipped off and each one of the knots hit him in the crotch on the way down.
Sounds painful right? Well the kid got out of the water and was bleeding all over the place. Get ready for this, I'd recommend you sit down.
The kid cut his taint wide open....
I'm talking like that rope gave that kid an artificial vagina. How it did not disturb his beanbag I don't know, but my God what an awful injury!! Apparently he had to get it sewed up in the hospital with stitches and has been laid up in bed for the past week. I mean he can't really walk, I don't know how he drops the kids off at the pool.
Any other awful injuries you guys have heard of or can remember from your youth? I can think of tons more :lol:

aaaaaaa that is awful! you know, i bet there isn't a whole lot of things you can do outside of just sitting in bed with a cut up taint, when you think about it.
not really bad i guess but when i was in elementary school i was playing tag with some friends and some kid ran into me by accident when we were looking in different directions. his two front teeth peirced my cheek between my upper and lower teeth and cut it pretty wide open. he was fine, i had stitches and the wound got kinda infected. that was a mess. all of the stitches i've ever got (3) have been on my face. no wonder my mom has high blood pressure.

I was cooking something on a hotplate on the ground when I was in like 6th grade, and had some water boiling in a pot that had a handle. I went to unplug the hotplate, and stepped on the handle, throwing the boiling water up against the inside of my right leg, and the water ran down my leg and cooked my ankle inside my boot. That was pretty painful, 3rd degree burns, had to go to the doctor to get the wound scrubbed and cleaned every day for about 3 weeks..that blew a big bag...

I had two elbows once.
If you freeze frame the VHS (wrestling match). I had two 90 degree angles in my arm. If I didn't think "Scarred" was the worst thing to ever hit television, I would mail it in.
Thank god that shock took over. I didn't feel a thing until a couple hours later.
Also, I can't begin to fathom a taint injury.

Rubbing alcohol + liqueur bottle + lighter = 3rd degree burns. No hospital though, just a lot of pain (at least after the night it happened.)
