I made a mini movie - JackoliciousLegs - 06-04-2007 Sooooo, I've wanted to get into film making for a while. The problem is... I have no video camera. I do, however, have this sweet regular camera. Therefore, I decided to take a stab at doing a stop motion video. I didn't spend a lot of time at all on it and didn't have a script for it, but now the ideas are flowing and I hope that this will be the first of many (and hopefully more exciting) stop motion videos that I'll make. Enjoy! <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k2L9fCpWxXA">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k2L9fCpWxXA</a><!-- m --> - HAULN-SS - 06-04-2007 man..so much hippy, so little time pretty neat though - BLINGMW - 06-04-2007 heh that stop motion stuff is so fun, but tedious! I made a short one with hotwheels cars when I was like 6, it took forever. Cute movie, but I didn't see any poking!

I like the use of hovergirl. - Sijray21 - 06-04-2007 Hunter Wrote:I like the use of hovergirl. +1 well done - Mike - 06-04-2007 did you really use stop motion when you could have just dropped frames? i suppose that would entail serious editing... would be interesting to compare the production time of each... anyway, cool video. I didn't want to deal with (too much) frame by frame editing. I toyed with iStopMotion, but that sucks since you don't have granular control over duration of individual frames, so I just used finalcut. I'm sure there's some way to do stop motion using finalcut or premier with a proper video clip, but doing the timing that I did would be hell. ScottyB Wrote:cool, i liked it. that had to take a ton of time!actually... it's kinda crazy that it took so little time. The next one I do will be much longer and I'm sure it'll be more time consuming since I'm going to do some crazy effects :-) This one took maybe two hours to shoot even without a script and no experience (so i didn't know what to shoot really). Then it took around two hours to put together. That was just doing some timing things, audio editing, and going through the images. I can't wait to do my next one. - CaptainHenreh - 06-05-2007 Next up?
