This may be WTLY, but I just got the memo on this one.

This may restore my faith in PC gaming for a short period of time. Hopefully our old desktop at home still has the juice in it to power this game when it comes out.

You're not that late, the announcement only came 2 days ago.

I nearly pee'd my pants. I was really, really, really, really hoping that the "exciting new product" that Blizzard was going to announce in Korea was in face Starcraft 2 and not "World of Starcraft" or some other MMO Bullshit.

So I guess all I have to say is:

Hah fuck playing that game online man. I gave up on that right after I bought the original as well as Warcraft 3. Unless they've found some way to fix it, there was always some asshole who attacked our own team and blew it for everyone.

FPS is where it's at. The only game I'll be playing online in a couple of months is Halo 3, with some occasional GoW thrown in there for some surgical procedures with the shotgun.

I agree, but there hasn't been a good FPS out since Quake 2 for PC ;\

Call of Duty 2 wasn't bad, three kind of sucked..4 might be good.

And..I don't ever remember anyone team killing? I always rushed so fast I doubt anyone else ever had time to think about that...

Really? Did you ever fucks with UT2k4? That's probably one of my favorite PC FPSs of all time. I've never played any FPS that compares to it speed and skillwise... I'm sure the new one is even better.

Yeah, assholes on your team would mass like steam tanks while you rushed and wipe out your bases while you were engaged in a big battle.

Yeah, I played all the UT games. I never got into them because they were slow as shit compared to quake2. Halo has got to be one of the slowest ones ever, I don't know how that got to be so popular. I played counter strike - even though it was slow, it had a good concept, but it wasnt original, it was just like action quake, which i also played, so maybe that's why I liked CS. UT might be like my 4th favorite FPS. Quake 2, CS, CoD2, UT ....something like that

Quake 2 was faster than UT2k4?? I never really played that game, but I can't imagine a FPS that's faster than Unreal Tournament. I used to have a video of a friend of mine that was in a clan that was ranked #2 (and I think eventually #1) in the UK and his shit was insane. He and his teammates would jump into a room and kill 7 people with individual shots or headshots within like 3 seconds.
