I couldn't believe how nice it was on my drive to work today. I had the hugest grin on my face on the twisty back roads to work, windows down, sunroof open. Instead of being at work on this gorgeous day, I'd rather be:
1) In my STi, windows down, tank full of race fuel, burling on the paved back roads in Middleburg / The Plains
2) Sitting by the pond on our old farm with a case of Miller Lite next to me and a fishing pole in my other hand
3) Sitting at the beach with a Corona in one hand and a sippy mug full of Crown and Coke, watching the hot babes walk by and taking in the ocean air <--- will be me in another 2 months!

damn, i was thinking the same thing this morning. the sunrise was awesome and it was a nice, hazy 70 degrees.....
- riding my mountain bike balls-out top speed down a ridge in the middle of nowhere
- 33 west, windows down, no traffic
- in Little Stony creek in blacksburg, under the shade of an enormous canopy of leaves, knee deep in almost 100% pure, frigid mountain water with a fat brook trout on the end of my fly line
- roasting on the beach in south carolina with a fat margarita in my hand
