all you do is pu the bottom beice downwise, then put two peices facing inwards using yoiur main finger, then repeat pon the top then smash it all togetheter you win!

a star of david, in 3D like you're talking about I think would have two flat sides with small pyramids jutting out of the top, with 4 concave sides. Basically you could imagine pushing a pyramid through another pyramid by the tips - until each tip pushed out of the base of the other. this shape he posted has too many sides I think
