heh - not to take anythign away from that guy, but he's probably using a tablet, wouldnt you say? And also - the guys using the thousand dollar program probably do that work in about 1/3 the time.

Also - arent most concept drawings done by hand? If so, that probably happens just the same as using airbrushes and such to do them by hand, if he's using a tablet

i'm pretty sure that's the case. most art people i know would never turn to a computer to flesh out a concept they are thinking of. paper first.

mona lisa - surprisingly well.
Also, I'm almost positive these guys are using tablets - that and the combination of being able to draw perfect curves in paint may actually make the drawing easier to do than with a pen/paper...the shading part would still be pretty difficult though
