Dad's business trip - FORD GT-TT - JackdaMak - 04-17-2007

Wazzup fellas... my dad just went to florida for the day to look at some equipment that he's thinking about purchasing for the hospital he works at and ends up basically having a car day with the dude that owns the business. JEALOUS AS HELL...

This guy is definitely a car freak... has owned a lamborghini, caught that on fire running away from the cops, has gotten tickets for 160 in 45pmh zone and street races in the middle of the night as a 38 year old owner of a professional business. If that's not where the majority of us wanna be in 15 or so years then i dunno who we are lol.

Anyways... here's his site and theres a nice lengthy video (21min) in the video section of the website on the progression of his Ford GT twin-turbo that has like 1400hp :o ....... he needs to bring that shit up to the car show and DYNO. if it could handle it that is Smile j/p

ENJOY

As much as I'd like to have the money to do that, I think I'd rather take a car to the track and race legally.

Thats awesome, Joe's Ford GTTT is a beast, love that car. The buildup video is awesome, I guess that guy gets his jollies off of decimating turbo-sport bikes on the highway haha. I also have a video of when he used to road race it at 650rwhp when supercharged

Where? In jail? Or in little pieces surrounded by bits of carbon fiber?

I think if you have the money to buy a Ford GT and then mess around with the engine like that, money kind of (yet sadly) eliminates the jail for speeding... when he actually let the cop catch up with him after the 160mph clock, the cop wanted a ride. Simple traffic ticket.

And if you suck at driving to the point that you're gonna wreck your GT-TT and you don't know its limits and where to mess around then you have no business owning/driving one.

You don't have to get one later in life but i'm sure that most of us here wouldn't mind owning a car like this.

So, from your description, this guy has no business owning/driving one, since he street races in the middle of the night?

:?:

i'm sure that most ford GT owners dont know its limits. i'm sure most ford GT owners dont know the limits of their regular street cars.

*cough* alumni hatin *cough* , its cool that your dad got to experience this, we all know the dangers, so please dont give him shit for nothing he can control.

Simply badass car and even better that your dad got to at least get a glimpse of it. Now the trick is for you to get close to it!

Whoa didn't know i was gonna have to step up and defend myself. Just pointing out an event in life. Start another topic if you wanna argue about qualifications to drive a 1400hp car.

Didn't mean for this to get into a debate but some ppl just can't help it i guess. Sorry fellas!

- Sijray21 - 04-18-2007

1453 rwhp and 1250 rwtq... Confusedhock:

Haha, please continue posting on this forum, these are just guys who are bored at work lashing out

I'm sure Joe is "qualified" to drive this car...I know he has road raced it in the past, and judging by his previous stable of cars, I'm sure he knows a thing or two about high performance driving. Bottom line is this car is a toy for him, he's rich and wants to have a little fun thats all

- BLAIR - 04-18-2007

Heh, as you can see, everything is a debate here.

We weren't knocking anyone in particular, but most of us are here to promote off the street debauchery. That sums up all of the hate.

If we wanted to debate the qualifications of someones driving ability, no one needs a 1400 hp car, unless they are drag racing pro stocks or just want to look cool. Thats not to say we don't all want one or dream about such a car.

The Ford GT will always be one of my favorite cars, and yes, I would love to be able to have a car of that caliber, TT or stock.

Yeah, I worded that one wrong, I don't see where theres any hate in your post either, there are simply things you can't control when driving on the street (or track for that matter)
